SATURDAY, MARCH 27, 10:00am—Field Reservations are OPEN.  Now taking reservations from groups and individuals to use Little Cubs Field for family, church, community, and other events.  Click here to reserve your time now!

MONDAY, APRIL 26—OPENING DAY-Freeport Little League game at Little Cubs Field—6pm.  Special guest sports journalist and author George Castle threw out the first pitch.  George was also available for book signing before the game.

May 28,29,30 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), PEE WEE CLASSIC at Little Cubs Field). Little League age 7-8 year olds  from all over the Midwest are invited to participate. SUNDAY, MAY 30--- MINI CUBS VS. MINI-CARDS AT Rookies Sports in Black Earth, WI (NOT at LCF) -11am;  Freeport 9-year-olds (in full Cubs uniforms) vs. Black Earth 9-year-olds (in full Cardinal uniforms) at Rookies in Black Earth, WI.  (Re-match of last yera's game at Little Cubs Field) . (This is the 2009 Mini-Cubs team, who will be 9 yrs old this year.)

SATURDAY, JUNE 12—MINI-CUBS VS. MINI-SOX ; 3pm—Freeport 8 yr. olds(in full Cubs uniforms) vs. 8 yr olds from Homewood-Flossmoor, IL (in full White Sox uniforms). Same day as Cubs-Sox game at Wrigley.

TUESDAYS STARTING JULY 13, 2010 TO AUGUST 31, 2010—Wiffleball League - Slow pitch, no running the bases.  $60 entry fee.  First 6 teams are in.  5 League games and double-elimination tournament at the end of the season.    For more information, contact Denny Garkey at dennygarkey@hotmail.com

SATURDAY, JULY 24—MINI-CUBS (Freeport 8-year-olds in full Cubs uniforms) VS. MINI-CARDS (Black Earth 8-year-olds in full Cardinal uniforms) ; NOON (same day as Cubs-Cards game at Wrigley).

SUNDAY, AUGUST 1 - CHARITY CHALLENGE HOMERUN DERBY ~ 10 charities will set an unofficial world record for the most homeruns in one day at one baseball field!  Nothing like this has ever been attempted before, according to Guinness Book of Records.  Open to the public - come on out and cheer on these groups!  Food and games available throughout the day!

SATURDAY, AUGUST 7, 2010-Chamber of Commerce Wiffleball Invasion.  Home run derby, teams invited from all over the midwest.  Call Kim Grimes at 815-233-1350 for details or email to dennygarkey@hotmail.com.

FREEPORT LITTLE LEAGUE GAMES TUESDAY-FRIDAY AT LCF APRIL 29 TO JUNE 25, 6 PM.   Mondays after April 26 are for out-of-town Little Leagues.  Ages of players are 6-8 years old.
